Due to ongoing construction projects in North Bend Park as part of the American Reinvestment and Recovery Act, campsites will be CLOSED and Re-opened periodically throughout Recreation Season 2010 (April 1 - October 31). We are sorry for the inconvenience. We appreciate your patience as we improve the park for your future enjoyment. Area C (sites 140-200) are now open to camping & reservations. It will close again in September. It is getting new a shower house, 14 new electric and water sites, and new paving. Area D (sites 201-239) will open April 1. It will be closed to camping & reservations on July 31. It is getting 30 new electric and water sites. Thank you for your patience and understanding. North Bend Park in VA home page www.recreation.gov. Reservations must be made at least 1 day in advance. This campground requires a 2 day minimum stay on weekends. This campground requires a 3 day minimum stay on holiday weekends. The campground is open April 1 through October 31 and campsites are $15-$20/night. No fires are allowed on the beaches. Off-road vehicles, dirt bikes, ATV's, golf carts, and motorized scooters are prohibited. Alcohol is prohibited. All equipment must fit on the site pad. EXTRA VEHICLE FEE: Campsites with more than 2 vehicles excluding the camping unit, will be charged a $4.00 extra vehicle fee, per vehicle, per night. The park closes at 11:00 pm Ranger and Sheriff patrol nightly in season. Attendants are on duty April through October. Please call (434)738-0059 for more information.
