1st Community FCU was chartered June 8, 1953, with our first office located on Goodfellow Air Force Base in San Angelo, Texas. We have grown to our current seven offices, with three in San Angelo and one each in Ballinger, Eldorado, Fort Stockton, Midland and Crane,Texas. We are a full-service financial cooperative providing friendly, personal service face-to-face, over the phone, through the Internet, or by mail. Our user-friendly technology makes it possible for us to serve our over 21,000 members located worldwide. 1st Community has been voted "Favorite Credit Union" by the readers of the San Angelo Standard Times for the 16th year in a row. The driving force for the establishment and continued growth of 1st Community FCU has been to make credit union services available to everyone. Because we are a "member- owned", democratically run, and not-for-profit cooperative, we are able to give back earnings to each member in the way of lower rates on loans, higher dividends, low-cost services, and 24/7 access to your account worldwide.
